Taihu Lake (Tai Lake) is a large lake at the Yangtze Delta, on the border between the provinces of Jiangsu and Zhejiang. It has an area of 2,420 square km with a coastline of 400 km long and an average depth of 2 meters. It is the third most freshwater lake grade of China, Poyang and Dongting after.
